The Costa Blanca - Spain's "White Coast"
First Line Spanish Properties
|
The Costa Blanca, the "White
Coast", with its wonderful beaches, is famous for its major tourist
resorts attracting millions of tourists every year. The Costa Blanca extends
from Denia in the north, an ancient and fascinating town at the foot
of the Montgo mountain, through Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Altea and
Benidorm to Alicante, and beyond to Guardamar and Torrevieja in the south.
The beaches on the Costa Blanca have been awarded 32 prestigious EEC
Blue Flags for cleanliness - far more than any other Costa in Spain.
And these fabulous beaches are ideally suited for young families,
being gently shelving and sandy - many with play areas for children,
and bars and restaurants for the adults. |
 |
| The many
world-class tourist attractions on the Costa Blanca include the Terra Mitica theme
and nature park in Benidorm, Europe's largest marine parks, many excellent safari parks,
waterfalls and beautiful beaches such as those at Moraira, Javea, Altea and Calpe.

 |
Javea, between Moraira and Denia,
covers a large area with many attractive and very desirable residential areas especially
in the stunning Cabo de la Nao area. Moraira is more compact and has
highly sought after residential areas within close proximity to
the town and the excellent beaches.
The Costa Blanca has a wealth of rich
cultural heritage with beautiful natural landscapes and fascinating
towns. Leave the tourist resorts and you'll find the real Spain, with
ancient towns and villages steeped in history and with stunning
scenery.
Towns where traditions and cultures continue today just as they did
hundreds of years ago. |
|
In the
north the land is green all year round, in contrast to the
south, and has wonderful mountain vistas reminiscent of Scotland. The
pretty valleys such as the increasingly popular Jalon Valley, are
famous for their wine.
The Costa Blanca coast is dotted with unspoilt Spanish
villages and resorts, and has many excellent golf courses. Benidorm,
Alicante and Valencia offer outstanding shopping with dozens of
boutiques, shopping malls and pedestrian shopping areas. Valencia also
has superb museums, science parks and an aquarium, and many other
public attractions places of historical interest.
The area is very accessible with two international airports. This,
coupled with a high standard of international schooling at affordable
prices, is making the area even more attractive for northern Europeans
to live and enjoy vacations. |
